Your Elopement Business:
Built and Running in 90 Days!

I hand wedding photographers the exact system I’ve used to perform 5,000+ elopements across multiple markets since 2010. One partner per city. One system that works.
“I had no idea this business would be as big as it turned out to be.”

Why Most Wedding Professionals Struggle With Elopements

You’re Treating Elopements Like Small Weddings. That’s the Mistake.

Most wedding photographers hear ‘elopement’ and think: smaller wedding, smaller payday. They price accordingly, plan accordingly, and wonder why it never quite works. That’s the wrong model entirely.

The elopement world operates by completely different rules. The couples are different. The expectations are different. The economics are wildly different. And the businesses that thrive here don’t look anything like a traditional wedding company.

The photographers winning in this market aren’t doing more than you. They’re doing it differently: with a model built specifically around how elopements actually work.

The Event Model

Elopements are not short weddings. They are a fundamentally different type of event — and the photographers who understand how they actually work build businesses that are more profitable, less exhausting, and easier to scale. Most of the industry still hasn’t figured this out. The webinar is where we go deep on what elopements actually look like in practice — and why most photographers are shocked when they hear it.

The Volume Engine

While most wedding photographers are chasing 15 to 20 bookings a year, this model is designed around consistent, high-volume output — 100, 200, even 300+ events per year. That’s not a busier calendar. It’s a different calendar. One that stays full year-round instead of spiking in June and disappearing in January.

The Math

At $1,200 to $1,500 clear per booking with near-zero overhead, the numbers compound quickly. Your market will vary. But if you run this volume through almost any market, the annual figure starts to look very different from a traditional photography business.

What You're Actually Getting

A Real Business, Ready to Run in 90 Days — With Me Standing Beside You the Whole Way

When you join ElopementBiz, you’re not buying a course you’ll half-finish. You’re building a real business — under a proven brand name, with a proven system, and me available at every step.

Your Territory. Exclusively Yours.

One partner per market. When you join, your city is locked — no other ElopementBiz partner can operate there. The competitive advantage isn't just what you build. It's what nobody else can take.

Digital Real Estate Most Photographers Can't Buy

You'll launch with the elope-[city].com and elope[city].com domains and @elope[city] social media handles across every major platform. These aren't just brand assets — they're high-intent search properties. When a couple Googles 'how to elope in [your city],' your domain is often the first thing they find.

The ROI Guarantee — My Risk, Not Yours

I guarantee you will earn back your investment. If you don't earn back your investment within six months, I will keep working with you 1-on-1 until you do. Not a conditional promise. Not fine print. If the system doesn't pay for itself, the mentorship doesn't end.

The System Itself — Operational From Day One

Weekly 1-on-1 calls with JP. Any-time text access. A complete operational playbook built from 5,000+ real elopements. A ceremony framework, photography packages, a booking workflow, and a website that works while you sleep.

What Happens After You Start

She Wanted 10 Weddings Her First Year. She Booked More Than 20.

That kind of result isn't the exception here. It's what happens when a proven system meets someone willing to follow it.

She came in with NO wedding industry background. Only a desire to build something of her own.

Within her first year, she more than doubled her original goal. That kind of outcome isn't unusual here. It's what happens when you have someone in your corner who has been doing this for over 16 years and has planned over 5,000 events.

Rather than guessing in a market the rest of the industry doesn't yet understand, my clients can launch their own business, run it however they wish, and grow it beyond their wildest dreams — with someone by their side who has made every mistake so they don't have to.

When I first started working with Jon-Paul, it seemed a bit too good to be true. We quickly found out that it wasn't. After 10 years at a desk job that was just a means to an end, I realized the means to the end could be a little more fun. It's been almost three years now, and I've been incredibly fortunate to build a career around being part of people's origin stories — their first kiss, their first moments as a married couple. If you're looking to be more financially independent and get some of your life back during the week, I'd recommend this program 100%.
I had been a wedding photographer for several years before getting to know JP. I wondered if this crazy elopement idea would bring in enough money to justify the effort. It wasn't very long at all that I was dreading doing large weddings and only wanted to focus on elopements. His experience showed me that everyone else is overthinking elopements. My investment in myself paid off within the very first month of being "open for business." My only real regret is that I wish I would have started this sooner.
When I met Jon-Paul, I had worked as an assistant to a wedding planner and florist and knew I loved planning events. My now-husband enjoyed being a part of a couple's celebration, but he didn't quite know how to break in. I now plan elopements at exciting places like the Cliffs of Moher and Corcomroe Abbey. Tommy officiates them. I have moved on to planning larger events as well, but elopement planning is my first love and what I keep going back to. Jon-Paul believed in me, which made all of the difference!

I Started This Business in 2010 Because I was Angry at the System

In November 2009, I found myself laid off from a corporate job.  I was sick of working to make other people rich.  I had always wanted to start my own business. After some soul searching, I took a look at the wedding industry.  The process was expensive, stressful, and unpleasant in ways that felt completely unnecessary. I kept thinking: there has to be a better way to do this.

So I built one.

On January 1, 2010, Elope Asheville opened. I created the first destination elopement company in Asheville, North Carolina — a niche market that barely existed anywhere at the time. I figured out the hard way what works and what doesn’t. I tested the pricing model, the event format, the vendor relationships, the booking process — all of it, over thousands of real couples.

Sixteen years and 5,000+ elopements later, my business has generated over $5 million in revenue — with margins that would make most service businesses jealous. I’ve been featured on NPR’s The Indicator from Planet Money. I’ve been interviewed by local NBC affiliate WLOS. I’ve been covered in outlets that called what I was doing a “new trend” — which was flattering, though by then I’d already been at it for a decade.

What I built in Asheville worked well enough that I replicated it. Elope Greenville. Elope Biloxi. Then Elope Ireland — an international location that outperformed every market except my original. The model isn’t tied to one city or one set of conditions. It’s a system.

I haven’t raised my prices since I launched in 2010. I don’t need to. The volume model I built doesn’t depend on charging more. It depends on doing it right, consistently, at scale.

I want to hand that model to the right people.

I’ve spent nearly 2 decades building something I can now hand to the right people in 90 days. The webinar is where we figure out if you’re one of them — and whether your market is still open.

The Next Step Is Free!

See the Entire System — Live, Free, and Without Any Obligation

Most people in the "traditional" wedding industry are stuck fighting for the same small pool of potential clients. My clients come to me!

The traditional wedding model is broken. Bookings are down, the economy is shifting, and couples are looking for something different. That is where the elopement market comes in. It is a low-stress, recession-proof, and highly profitable alternative!

During this informational webinar, I will show you the exact framework I used to build a successful business from nothing. We will look at the actual math, the current market, and what your first 90 days could look like.

You will leave this session knowing exactly if this pivot is right for you. If it is, we can talk about how I can help you implement it. If it isn't, you will still walk away with more clarity about the elopement market than most of your competitors. This is the clearest picture I can give you of a business that provides true time, financial, and relationship freedom. It costs you an hour. That is it.

Check That Your Market Hasn't Already Been Claimed.

Some cities already have a partner. Some are still open. The webinar is where you find out — and where we walk through exactly what building this business in your market could look like. It's free. It's 60 minutes. And if your market is open, you'll leave knowing whether you want to move on it.

I consent to receiving emails and/or text message reminders for this event.

FAQ

What Most Photographers Ask Before Signing Up.

How is this different than buying an online course?

An online course is a product. You buy it, you get a login, and whether you finish it — or whether it actually works for your market — is entirely on you. This is something different. This is a business you build alongside someone who has run this exact model for 16 years. I'm with you on day one, and I'll still be with you on day one thousand if that's what you need. When you hit a wall, you don't Google the answer or post in a Facebook group and wait. You ask me directly. That kind of support isn't something a course can offer — because a course doesn't care if you succeed. I do! You're also not buying a generic system. You're getting your specific market, your specific city's domain, and a guarantee that the investment pays for itself.

No. Either we will train you, or you will build a team of local vendors — photographers, officiants, florists, etc.. Remember: the more you can do in-house, the more you will make. Many of my most successful clients came in with general wedding industry experience. Some came in with none at all. What matters far more than any specific credential is a genuine desire to build something and the willingness to follow a system that has already been proven to work.

Wherever there are people who fall in love, elopements will happen. They aren't reserved for tourist destinations. Couples choose locations based on the planning help available and the experience they want, not just the scenery. A well-run elopement business in a smaller market can absolutely thrive. We'll talk through your specific market during the webinar, and go deeper on your discovery call if you decide to move forward.

Most clients book their first elopement within 30 to 60 days of launching — some sooner. The timeline depends on your market, how quickly your systems go live, and how responsive you are to early inquiries. The goal of the first 90 days isn't just to get you set up. It's to get you in front of real couples who are ready to book.

No. The ElopementBiz.com model is built primarily around search — couples finding you because your domain name is the direct answer to what they're already Googling. A strong social presence can help over time, but it isn't required to launch, and it isn't the primary driver of bookings in this model. You don't need an audience. You need a system.

What does the day-to-day actually look like?

On most days, you're responding to inquiries, confirming bookings, and coordinating with your local vendors. There's no office to go to. No boss. No grinding through someone else's schedule for someone else's dream. The events themselves are short and genuinely meaningful. The work that surrounds them is manageable. It's a real business — it takes real effort — but it's structured in a way that gives you your time back.

You absolutely can — nothing is stopping you. But it took me years of costly trial and error to build what I now hand to clients on day one. Every mistake I've made, every system I've refined, every pricing decision and vendor relationship strategy — all of it took time I can't give back. This program compresses 3 to 5 years of figuring it out down to 2 to 3 months of building it right. Starting alone isn't wrong. It's just slower, and more expensive in ways you won't see coming.

There's no long-term contract and no penalty for moving on. If you decide this path isn't right for you, we simply part ways. You owe nothing to part ways. I'd rather work with people who are genuinely excited to be here than hold anyone to something that isn't working for them. That said — in 16 years, I haven't had many people walk away.

Just as I have ALWAYS maintained with my elopements, I have a strict no-pressure policy on sales. I do not believe in pressuring anyone to do anything they may not be ready for yet. That being said, you can sign up for my FREE webinar on the form above. You can also visit our CONTACT page to have me call you for a 15-20 minute discovery call.

This will vary based on several factors, but surprisingly, most clients are able to pay off the investment in themselves in as few as 2-3 weddings. I have had some clients do this during their first weekend! Yes, really!

If your market has already been claimed, we’ll tell you on the webinar. Some adjacent markets may still be available, and we can talk through your options. But if your city is open, the only way to protect it is to move. We can’t hold markets for people who are still deciding.

Some markets are already gone. See if yours is still open.
